Teachers

Nine teachers, one room.

Between them, more than eighty years of teaching. All of them still practise every day, and all of them still sit on retreat.

How a teacher joins Lull

Four steps, no shortcuts.

At least five years

A daily practice of their own

Every teacher sat on their own for at least five years before teaching anyone else, including one silent retreat of a week or more.

A recognised training

Two hundred hours or more

A mindfulness teacher training with supervised teaching, such as the eight-week programme or mindful self-compassion.

An apprentice year

Forty classes beside a senior teacher

They assist forty classes before leading one, and lead twenty more with a senior teacher in the room.

Still learning

A retreat and supervision every year

Every teacher keeps a supervisor, sits one retreat a year and is observed teaching twice a year.

Teach with us.

We add one or two teachers a year. If you have trained and keep a daily practice, write to Nora with a short note about your path.
