FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything people ask the front desk, in one place. If yours is not here, call or write and a person will answer.

01

Your first visit

None. Every class is guided from start to finish, and teachers explain everything as they go.

Comfortable clothes and warm socks. Cushions, chairs, mats, blankets and tea are all here.

Ten minutes before the start. The door closes when the bell rings so the room stays quiet.

Yes. Book any class, choose “New to meditation” and there is nothing to pay.

Yes. About a third of every class sits on chairs, and lying down is welcome in rest classes.

02

Booking and cancelling

Seven days on a drop-in, fourteen with a pack and twenty-one as a member.

Free of charge up to two hours before the class, from the link in your confirmation email.

Join the waiting list. Places open up most days, and we email you the moment one does.

Yes. Book a place for each of you; members bring a friend free once a month.

03

Courses and retreats

Every week has a recording and workbook pages, and your teacher catches you up.

The 8-week course can be paid in four monthly payments of $85; retreats take a $100 deposit.

A full refund until four weeks before; after that your place can be passed to someone else.

Three places on every course and retreat are offered at a reduced fee. Ask the desk; no questions asked.

04

Access

Yes. A lift runs to the second floor from the Pine Street door, and there is an accessible restroom.

The big room has a hearing loop, and teachers will face you if you lip-read. Tell us on booking.

The Marketplace garage is two blocks north; the first two hours are free.

Sunday classes are by donation, from $0, and concession prices are $10 a class or $60 a month.

05

Wellbeing and safety

No. Lull teaches meditation. It is not a treatment and our teachers are not therapists.

That can happen. You can open your eyes, stop, or step outside at any time, and a teacher is always free to talk afterwards.

Please do not wait for a class. Call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any hour of the day.
