Insurance

Three ways your plan can help.

We check your plan on the free call, so you know your figure before the first session.

In network

You pay your copay

We are in network with most large Wisconsin employer plans, and with BadgerCare Plus for clients under 18. We bill the plan for you.

Out of network

You claim with a superbill

You pay the session fee, we send a superbill with the codes your insurer needs, and you claim back what your plan covers.

Health accounts

HSA and FSA cards

Counseling is an eligible expense for most health savings and flexible spending accounts. Use the card at the desk.

The fine print

In plain words.

Cancelling. Free up to 24 hours before your session. Inside 24 hours it is $70, waived once a year and always for illness.

Paying. Card, HSA or FSA at the end of each session. We never keep a balance running, and nothing is charged before you come.

Good Faith Estimate. If you pay for yourself, you have the right to a written estimate of your costs before you start. Ask for it on the call.

Receipts. By email after every session, with a year-end summary each January for your taxes or your insurer.

In crisis right now?

Ovel is not a crisis service. Call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any hour, or call 911 if you are in danger.

Most clients come for eight to sixteen. You review progress with your therapist every four sessions, and you can stop whenever you choose.
Many plans do not, because there is no diagnosis to bill. The sliding scale applies whenever your plan says no.
A receipt with the session codes and your therapist's license number. Your insurer uses it to pay out-of-network benefits back to you.
Yes, up or down, whenever your situation changes. Tell your therapist or the front desk.
