Asked on almost every first call.

Getting started

No. You can book directly, with or without a name for what is going on. Some insurance plans ask for a referral; we tell you on the call.
Most new clients have a first session within a week of the free call, often sooner for evening and online times.
On the free call we ask what is going on, what times you can do and what kind of person you would like to talk to. Then we suggest one therapist.
Yes. Name them on the booking form and we check their next opening.

Fees and insurance

Individual and teen sessions are $140, couples and family $175, groups $45. A sliding scale from $60 applies to all of them.
We are in network with most large Wisconsin plans, and give a superbill for the rest. HSA and FSA cards work at the desk.
Cancelling inside 24 hours costs $70, waived once a year and always for illness.

Sessions

Most clients come for eight to sixteen sessions, weekly at first and then every other week. You review progress together every four sessions.
You can stop at any time. We suggest one closing session to look back at what changed, but it is your choice.
Yes, until 8 pm Monday to Thursday, and on Saturday mornings.

Privacy

Only your therapist and our clinical director. Nobody else, including your employer or family, without your written consent.
Only when someone is at serious risk of harm, or a court orders it. Your therapist explains this in the first ten minutes.
No. Emails cover times and receipts only; anything clinical stays in the session or our secure client portal.
