The whole room drawn to scale: plan, elevations, lighting layout, palette with paint codes, and a shopping list priced from stock we can see on the day it is written.
For a room that mostly works. We keep what you own, fix the layout on paper, and give you a list of the eight or ten pieces that change it — nothing more.
If you can answer one question, you can pick the service.
Is the room empty, or nearly?
Full-room design. There is no layout to keep, so the plan does the heavy work and the list is long.
Does it work, but feel unfinished?
Room refresh. We keep the sofa you like, move three things on paper, and price the rest.
Is a trade quoting from it?
Kitchen & open plan. The schedule is what a cabinetmaker needs, and a plan without one wastes their time and yours.
Is it one decision, not a room?
Sourcing hour. A shortlist beats a full package when you already know what the room should be.
Still unsure? Send photographs to hello@alcovea.studio and we will tell you which one you need, including when the answer is none of them.
General notes
Sheet 04 · applies to all services
Note 1
Furniture is excluded.
Every item on the list is bought by the client, direct from the supplier, at the price stated on the day of issue. The studio holds trade accounts; the discount is passed through on the list.
Note 2
Project management is excluded.
Deliveries, returns and trades are not coordinated. The install guide gives the order of work.
Note 3
Structural work is excluded.
Nothing that moves a wall, window, drain or circuit. Where a plan would require it, the drawing stops at that line and says so.
Note 4
Attendance is excluded.
No site visit forms part of a room package. A two-hour walkthrough is available to Portland clients as a separate item.
