Why every design on our wall leaves it once, and what that means for the piece you claim.
Nine drawings hang on the flash wall at any time. Each one is tattooed once, on one person, and then it comes down for good.
When a design is claimed we mark it, tattoo it, photograph the healed result and retire the drawing. Nobody else gets it, here or anywhere, because we do not resell the file.
The original goes to the person who wore it.
Message the studio with the sheet number and a placement. If it is still available we hold it for seven days against a deposit.
Scale and placement are open, within reason. A design drawn for a forearm rarely survives being shrunk onto a wrist, and we will say so rather than take the booking.
Colour, line weight and composition stay as drawn. That is the point of flash.
Repeating a design turns a tattoo into a product. It also means the person who took it first sees their own piece on somebody else in the same city.
Retiring the drawing costs us repeat sales and is worth it.
Each resident draws new flash roughly every six weeks, so the wall turns over completely a few times a year.
What is up is what is available. Nothing is held back.
Tell us what you liked about it and the artist will draw something in that direction as a custom piece. It will not be the same drawing, and it will fit you better.
Consults run forty minutes and cost nothing. Come with references, a rough placement, and a budget range. You leave with a date, an artist, and a price band.
