Feedra opened in 2017 in one room on Calder Yard, cutting reels for brands that could not afford an agency and did not want one. The first client paid in coffee and a credit. The second stayed six years.
What we learned in that room is the whole business. A feed is not a campaign you switch on; it is a thing people either come back to or scroll past, and the only way to know which is to watch it every day. So we never built the layer that usually sits between a client and the work.
The second room came in 2021, in London, when Leeds clients started sending their friends. Nine years on there are twelve of us and eighteen brands on the wall. The cap on how many a team will carry has cost us work more than once. It has never cost us a client, which is the only trade we were ever making.
