About

Nine years of making people watch.

Feedra is twelve people in two rooms, Leeds and London. We plan, shoot and run social for consumer brands, with no account layer and no hand-offs, and we are judged on one thing only: whether people come back.

The story

Two editors, a borrowed camera and one rule.

Calder Yard · the first room, still cutting at 23:00

Feedra opened in 2017 in one room on Calder Yard, cutting reels for brands that could not afford an agency and did not want one. The first client paid in coffee and a credit. The second stayed six years.

What we learned in that room is the whole business. A feed is not a campaign you switch on; it is a thing people either come back to or scroll past, and the only way to know which is to watch it every day. So we never built the layer that usually sits between a client and the work.

The second room came in 2021, in London, when Leeds clients started sending their friends. Nine years on there are twelve of us and eighteen brands on the wall. The cap on how many a team will carry has cost us work more than once. It has never cost us a client, which is the only trade we were ever making.

Ivy Calder · studio director

“Five brands is the most one team will ever carry.”

House rules

Rule 01

You talk to the people who make it.

No account layer. The editor who cut the film and the strategist who planned it are on the call. Nothing is relayed, so nothing is lost.

Rule 02

Five brands per team, never six.

A team that watches five feeds actually watches them. The cap has cost us work. It has never cost us a client.

Rule 03

Every number is read in 90 days.

One window for every report, so a good week can never dress up a flat quarter, and a slow start is allowed to become a good one.

Careers

We hire people who watch.

Creators, editors and community managers who can tell you why a video worked before the numbers arrive.
