A morning with a soft wash crew

From the first test patch at 7 am to the final walk-through.

A soft wash crew at work in the morning

A soft wash day starts before the first spray. Here is how a typical house wash runs, from the van pulling up to the final walk-through with the owner.

7:00, the walk-around

The crew lead walks the house with you, notes anything fragile and agrees which doors and windows stay shut. We wet the plants and cover the outlets and lights.

7:30, a test patch

We mix the cleaner and try it on a hidden corner first. If the siding or paint reacts, we change the mix before we go any further.

“Nothing goes on a wall we have not tested on that wall.”

Marcus Holloway, crew lead

8:00 to noon, the wash

Cleaner goes on from the bottom up and rinses from the top down, one side of the house at a time. Plants are rinsed again after each side.

The walk-through

We walk the house with you again before we leave. If something is missed, we fix it while the van is still there.
