Pet Loss

Saying goodbye, gently

When the time comes, we help you decide, we make it peaceful, and we stay with you afterwards.

Knowing when

Questions to ask yourself

There is rarely one right day. These questions help, and we are always glad to talk them through with you, free of charge.

Does your pet still enjoy the things they love most?

Are there more good days than bad ones this week?

Can they eat, drink, and get up on their own?

Is their pain controlled, even with medicine?

Are they still interested in you, and in the world?

Where

At home, or here with us

Either way, your pet is sedated first and falls asleep calmly in your arms, and you can take all the time you need.

At home

A vet and a nurse come to you, within 15 miles of the clinic, seven days a week by appointment.

$395, including the visit

At the clinic

In our quiet room, with a sofa, soft light and its own door to the garden, so you never pass the waiting room.

Three ways to remember

We arrange everything with a family-run pet crematorium in Fletcher and call you when your pet is ready to come home.

Communal cremation

Your pet is cremated with others, and the ashes are scattered in a memorial garden.

Private cremation

Your pet alone. The ashes come home in a cedar box with their name, in about ten days.
