The complete exam: refraction, retinal imaging, pressure, visual field, and front of eye, with the photographs on screen and explained as we go.
What you have noticed, what you do all day, family history, medication. Most diagnoses start here rather than at the chart.
The better one or two. We check against your current glasses so any change is a real change, not a different day.
Wide field photographs, OCT where indicated, and contact tonometry. No air puff, no drops for most people.
Visual field, slit lamp, tear film, muscle balance. The parts that find things you could not have described.
Your images on screen, what they show, what changed since last time, and what we would do about it. Written summary emailed.
We do not dilate routinely, so most people drive home without trouble. If dilation is needed we will tell you when you book, never on arrival.
