FAQ

Grouped by where you are: before booking, during the build, after delivery. Anything else, write to the booker.

(01)

Before you book

No. Most book builds are for new faces without representation. If you are signed, we coordinate the shot list with your booker so the new pages fill real gaps.

Two to four weeks for Portland, four to six for NYC. Editorial and campaign work books by season, so enquire early for SS27.

Bring anything with meaning, and we will pull the rest. Roughly a third of a typical book uses the model's own pieces, refitted.

Half the session rate. It holds the date, books hair and makeup tests, and starts the wardrobe pull. It transfers once if you reschedule with a week's notice.

(02)

During the build

Eight hours including hair and makeup. Five to seven looks, shot to a list agreed at the consult. Lunch is on us; energy management is part of the job.
You do, with us in the room arguing our case. The edit happens same-day against the shot list, so nothing lingers unresolved.
One guest is welcome for under-18s, required in fact. For adults we keep the set closed; faces relax when the audience leaves.

After delivery

You hold usage rights for your book, comp cards, and agency submissions, in writing. The studio retains portfolio rights, which you can decline.
If a look fails on our call — styling, light, or direction — the reshoot is free. If your brief changes after delivery, that is a new session at the day rate.
We prepare the submission sheet and tell you which boards fit. Sending it under your own name lands better, and we will say exactly why on the call.
