Our Story

Started in a garage. Still runs like one.

Cranq began in 2011 as a single repair stand in a rented garage, fixing commuter bikes for neighbors who were tired of being upsold at big shops. The rule then was the same as now: quote honestly, torque properly, and ride the bike before handing it back.

The garage got bigger, the tool wall got longer, and the neighbors brought race bikes, cargo bikes, and finally frames they wanted built from scratch.

Today three certified mechanics service more than nine hundred bikes a year. The stand count changed. The rule never did.

One stand, one garage

Cranq opens as a weekend repair bench for neighborhood commuters.

2016

Custom build program

First frame-up build rolls out the door. The spec sheet conversation becomes a Cranq signature.

2021

The Spoke Street workshop

We move into the current workshop and grow to three certified mechanics with a dedicated wheel room.

2026

900+ bikes a year

Same-week turnaround, a 4.9 rider rating, and custom builds booked two months out.
