Everything you need to know about working with Blooma — from your first consultation to long-term garden care.
From first consultation to the final season of bloom, here is what our clients most often ask before beginning a project with us.
Timelines vary by scope. A residential garden design typically takes 2–4 weeks from consultation to detailed plans. Installation follows once designs are approved, usually within 4–8 weeks depending on materials. Larger commercial or estate projects may take longer, and we’ll give you a clear schedule upfront.
Yes. All clients are offered a tailored aftercare plan. We have three maintenance tiers — Basic Care, Premium Garden, and Estate Package — to suit different properties. Maintenance clients receive priority scheduling and a dedicated account manager.

Absolutely. Our portfolio showcases recent projects across residential, commercial, and estate categories. We’re also happy to arrange a visit to a completed project near you — just mention this when you book your consultation.
Each project is priced individually based on site size, design complexity, chosen materials, and access. After your free consultation we provide a detailed, itemised quote with no hidden costs. For maintenance plans, fixed monthly rates are listed in our pricing section.
You can engage us for a single service. Many clients begin with a Garden Design commission before adding installation, planting, or maintenance. Our services are designed to work independently or as a seamless end-to-end package, entirely on your terms.
Our free consultation includes a site walk, a discussion of your vision, lifestyle needs, and budget, and an honest assessment of what is achievable. You leave with clear next steps and a written summary, with no obligation to proceed.
We sequence hardscaping first — terracing, patios, paths, and structures — before introducing planting schemes. This protects your plants and ensures the soil and drainage conditions are ideal before we put anything in the ground. Both disciplines are handled by our in-house team for full continuity.
Often, yes. Even a compact garden benefits from consistent, targeted watering, particularly for formal planting schemes or lawns. Our irrigation systems are scaled to the site, so costs are proportionate. Clients consistently report reduced water bills and healthier plants within the first growing season.
Absolutely. We offer reactive tree and shrub care as standalone visits — storm damage, overgrowth, or survey assessments before a larger project. For ongoing health and shaping, many clients roll this into a seasonal maintenance plan for better value and results over time.
Every plan comes with a named account manager who knows your garden personally. You receive written seasonal garden reports after each review visit, noting plant health, drainage observations, and recommended actions for the coming months. All plans also include access to our client portal where visit records and care notes are stored.
Yes. Upgrades take effect from the next billing cycle with no additional fee. Downgrades are permitted after the initial 3-month term and are applied pro-rated to the remaining period. Your account manager handles all changes and will confirm the adjusted schedule in writing within 48 hours.
All maintenance plans require a minimum commitment of 3 months. After that period, plans continue on a rolling monthly basis. To cancel, simply provide 30 days written notice via your account manager or through the client portal. There are no cancellation fees beyond the 3-month minimum.
Labour and service visits are fully covered by your monthly plan. Materials — including seasonal plants, specialist compost, mulch, and treatments — are billed separately at cost, with a transparent 12% handling and sourcing fee applied. You will receive an itemised quote for approval before any materials are ordered, so there are never unexpected charges.
